Lost for words

Sculpture by Ju Ming

A long day
A longer day the next day
Where there's no difference between
Night and day

Urge oneself forward
While the inner urges for solitude breeds
Lost for words
From the unsettling pace of the day

Rest well
Sleep tight
For tiredness has stuck
In pursuit of a better day
March on once again the next day

this reminds me of the one sitting outside the library. i can't remember what it was called but i used to think they must be feeling so hot having to sit in the sun in mid-day.

What are popeyes?

NO!

You're not getting a popeye tattoo, are you?

Emily passed diploma in double bass, and it's worth a celebration, so the plan is to eat at Popeye - the name of the fast-food restaurant.

Hi Mistipurple, I get you an umbrella if you feel so hot. Until then, rain for your garden, the flowers will like the watering. *winks*

Simple American, that long day in the poem meant a long work day....but the sun comes out at about 6 a.m. and then sets at about 6.45 p.m. from my personal observations.

and congrats to emily on her diploma. it brings me back to the time i first greeted you on your blog. it was the time i read about you passing your music exams! strange meeting of 2 ships passing by. i clicked on randomly and found you then. i am so glad i did. i might not have posted if i didn't read about that!
