Let's Go Latin!

I hope this post came not too late. This is for lovers of Latin music.

Here's the synopsis and details:

Let's Go Latin!
5 June 2005 (Sunday), 6pm
Singapore Botanic Gardens, Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage

Dance your way through the history of Latin American music, with this concert which promises to bring everyone to their feet as they learn about Latin American sizzle and style. Performed by musicians from Latin America and Singapore.

Taken from SPH's Press Release:

The 90-minute concert will feature the 9-piece "big band" called Ireson, comprising musicians and singers from Mexico, Colombia and Singapore, who will play a repertoire guaranteed to get audiences on their feet.

For those who haven't tried Salsa, dancers from Attitude Dance Studios will take them through the basic moves - on the spot!

I probably may not go. Having orchestra rehearsals tomorrow, and I wish to recuperate from the flu the remaining of the time. Anyway, for those of you who are going, enjoy!

Mistipurple, it seems like we are in conspiracy to lure Kunstamaecker to Singapore. *wink*

Anyway, would you like Latin music, since you like Bossa nova hits?
